Conductor Search

The 20 year old Ankeny Community Chorus seeks a conductor for its 70 member volunteer mixed chorus.

ACC offers a wide range of music at major concerts in the spring, summer, and fall, and an appearance at the Iowa State Fair. Weekly rehearsals are Thursdays from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Revenue sources include concert free-will donations, available grants, and several major donors.

Requirements include appropriate credentials and a willingness to recognize and encourage the talent within our organization. A nominal quarterly stipend is offered to our conductor.
