Ankeny Community Chorus

April 2026 Spring Concert

ABOUT US

The Ankeny Community Chorus

was established in 2001 by founding

president Bill Konnath and music

director Steve Carstensen to establish

a choral group for the community. 

It has grown into a high-quality

choral group with several

performances each year.

JOIN

Rehearsals are held every Thursday at

7 PM at the Ankeny Presbyterian Church. We operate as a non-profit chorus and are open to people willing to make a personal commitment to quality musicianship.

 

SUPPORT

The Chorus is grateful for the ongoing support of Ankeny area residents, as well as its many business sponsors and patrons.

  • August 16th, 2026 = Concert at the Iowa State Fair at 4 pm

​

  • November 13th, 2026 = Concert at Lutheran Church of Hope at 7:30 PM

​

The 60 + members of the Ankeny Community Chorus, under the direction of Everett Reed and accompanied by Terry Waltersdorf, provide a number of concerts throughout the year.
